03 October 2023 – Suncatcher crafts using leaves

Seated area:
Welcome and wellie boot check in. How is everyone feeling? Which zone would pupils place themselves in?

Team game from Activity Cards.

Main Activity:
Autumn leaf suncatchers. Make a few large ones using a stick to hang them from; 3 pupils in each group with staff to support.

If too windy outside collect leaves and do activity indoors. This is what we had to do.

Practice whistle rules:
Every so often practice whistle rule for stop and come back.

End of Session at seated area:
Put suncatcher together, talk about each pupil’s design. Pupils to say what they like about their own and others designs.
