Prep 1 – Introduction to the Forest School Area. Explanation of the boundaries, walking, keep sticks low if up high they go in your eye, leave no trace, don’t pick up rubbish.
We talked about the canopy making it quiet dark, we listened to the sounds – cars, birds, wind in the trees, ambulance passing.
The boys really enjoyed jumping off a tree stump , it was uneven at the top so it was a challenge and encouraged the boys to take a risk.
