Children will carousel through three activities with the support of a member of staff. The children will be split into their forest school groups and wear their group colour high vies jacket.
Activity one:
Children will go on a minibeast hunt and identify what minibeast they have found using the images. They will discuss where minibeast like to live and search throughout the woodland area.
Activity two:
The children will make basic 2d shapes using items that they find throughout the woodland area. They will discuss how many sides the shapes have and the length of the sides. They will work together to create the 2d shapes.
Activity three:
The children will go on a woodland scavenger hunt looking for specific items and animals that can be found throughout the woodland area.
