The children were given the challenge of making a spider’s web from sticks and string. They had to chose suitable sticks, then work together to tie their sticks and make the web hold in shape as it wound its way out. Some groups needed a couple of goes to get it secure enough to hold. They were very impressed with themselves when they achieved it.
