YEAR 6- STEM- BUILDING TWIG RAFTS

Pupils worked in a small groups to create a raft out of twigs and string. They all took turns at weaving the twigs together and finally created a mast for their raft.

Once all the rafts were made, we had a discussion if they thought the rafts would float or sink. Finally, we tested them in water to see if they floated or sank.
