Making Woodland Shelters

WALT: to work cooperatively to create a woodland shelter.

The pupils were given a tarpaulin, rope and pegs at the start of the lesson. The were give the problem solving task of creating a shelter in the woods that would keep them covered if they had to stay there for the night. They had to take into consideration their equipment, the wind direction, and they had to make it comfortable to stay in too.
